PR Mission – Day 4

PR Mission – Day 4

Day 4

It was our second day working at Mr. Dennis’ house.

We knew the material would arrive, but we still needed to grab a couple of items.
We stopped by a Home Depot near the worksite, which had a massive parking garage.
After our quick stop at Home Depot, we arrived at the worksite to see that the materials arrived.

We unloaded the material from the truck. Also met a young staff person, Scott, from Memphis, TN.

Our paint crew painted the newly installed rails.

Installed walls in two rooms.

RJ made a new friend, while he was cutting boards outside!

The kitchen wall was painted, ready for the appliance to be installed.

Paint crew worked hard to paint all installed walls!

We installed the UMCOR sign and took a group picture, after the second day of work.

We might need a selfie stick to get everyone in one picture. Rich took a picture so our good friend Gregory could join the shot.

After we refreshed ourselves with a shower and dinner, we walked to the local ice cream shop, without a translator.
We got most of our orders right, except Sue got an extra scoop of ice cream! Still 7 and a half out of 8 orders! lol
