RCUMC’s COVID-19 Response – Financial

Re: Financial Response During COVID-19

Dear Members and Friends of Raleigh Court United Methodist Church,

As you may already know, our Bishop has asked all United Methodist Churches in Virginia to not hold in-person worship until June 11th, based on the Executive order of Governor Northam. We will continue to unite our efforts to stand in solidarity with this world, as we fight against COVID-19. We also pray that this time of social distancing can remind us how much our faith community means to us, and remember that we might be socially distant, but no distancing can separate us (Romans 8:39 NIV).

During the pandemic, we encourage you to join in the mission of God, through your tithes and offerings. As we continue to offer our lives for the mission of God, we pray that God will provide. You may send your offering to the church or use our online giving option. All offerings will be counted and deposited at the bank. The deposit will normally happen on Monday. You may also take advantage of our online giving option. Go to www.rcumc.org/give and you will find an ACH (Bank withdrawal) or Credit Card option to give.

We are thankful for your faithfulness, as we continue to join in God’s mission together at RCUMC! We will continue to pray for this nation and every member of this faith community. After doing that we can turn things over to God with the assurance that God will take care of everything!
Stay safe and healthy!

In Christ,

Larry Dickenson, Chair
