Today's Scripture
The Candy Lady 1 Peter 4:8-11
8 Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaining. 10 Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. 11 Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God; whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

What Does the Passage Say?
V. 8 Maintain your love for one another, for it is the power to cover all sins.
V. 9-11Be hospitable and serve one another, for all we do will glorify God’s name.
What Does the passage Mean to Me/US?
“Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything” (v. 8 The Message).
Do we really love one another, as if OUR life depended on it?
Meaning that if we stop loving, we do not live anymore.
If we don’t love, we won’t be able to serve or be hospitable, and we won’t be glorifying God’s name.
Therefore, loving one another becomes essential to our identity, of who we are.
Who is that person that is hard to love, in your life?
What if we start with offering a prayer, asking God, how to love?
Prayer
Lord, we want to glorify your name. We want to love you and love others more. Teach us how to love, and allow us to live loving others. In Christ Name, we pray, AMEN.
