Living Sacrifice – Romans 12:1-2
TODAY’S READING SCHEDULE: Romans 11-13(CEB)
So, brothers and sisters, because of God’s mercies, I encourage you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice that is holy and pleasing to God. This is your appropriate priestly service. 2 Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can figure out what God’s will is—what is good and pleasing and mature.
What does this passage mean to me/us
In Romans 11, Paul exhorts who we serve. We serve God who is bigger than our comprehension.
So many time, instead of seeing how great our God can be, we get occupied by our own thoughts and problems.
God continues to invite us to God’s bigger plan. It happens when we align ourselves with God’s plan, not ours.
That is one way to offer our lives as a living sacrifice.
Prayer
Lord, may my life be offered for your Kingdom. In Christ name, we pray, AMEN.
