Weldon “Don” C. Hall, 96 of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.

Don was raised in Greensboro, NC, the son of Jesse and Bessie Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, two sisters, and daughter-in-law Glenna.

Survivors include wife Jacqueline, sons Ed and Lynn (Karen), grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew (Melanie), Kelly (Nick) and great granddaughters Grayson and Austyn.

Don came to Roanoke in 1945 as manager of National Shirt & Hat Shop. He stayed in the men’s clothing business until he. turned is hobby of photography into a career. He was a leading photographer in the valley specializing in portraits and weddings from 1956 to 1984.
A service will be held Saturday, January 14, 12:30 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park in the Abbey Chapel.
