COVID-19 Update:  While in-person volunteering is difficult at this time, we continue to collect food and other goods for those in need.

Transforming the World starts right here at RCUMC through our many mission activities:

• Feeding America – Non-perishable food items are available for those in need.
• Congregations in Action, Kids Soar, the Rescue Mission, RAM house and the Local Office on Aging are some of the local initiatives that our congregation is actively involved in.
• the Interfaith Hospitality Network’s Family Promise program which provides temporary housing for homeless families is actively supported by our church.
• Through our connection with the United Methodist Church our church supports many missions throughout the world. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church. They provide: 1) Humanitarian Relief / Disaster Response, 2) Sustainable Development, 3) Global Health (in collaboration with Global Ministries)
• Our United Methodist Men and United Methodist Women organizations are actively involved in local and world-wide missions.
• Our church sponsors mission trips for both youth and adults.

At RCUMC we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in this world, sharing God’s grace with all!
