General Information 

Date: August 4th – 5th, 2017 (Friday – Saturday)
Who: Opened to all ages
Where: Sight & Sound Theater, Lancaster, PA
Cost: $240 per person
*Discount for Children ($50 off) and Youth ($75 off)
*Cost includes ticket to Jonah, lunch & dinner on 4th, hotel, tickets to Mennonite Tabernacle and Strasburg Railroad

On August 4th, we are going to Lancaster, PA to see the Sight and Sound Theatre production of Jonah, a musical theater interpretation of the classic Bible story. Enjoy great theater followed by a delicious family style Amish feast. We will stay overnight in Lancaster so that we can explore the area the next day.

We leave the church at 7:30 AM  on August 4th and we will be returning in the evening on August 5th

  • 7:30 AM  Leave Raleigh Court United Methodist Church (Box lunch provided by church)
  • 2:45 PM  Sight & Sound Theatres
  • 5:30 PM  Dinner provided by Sight & Sound Theatres
  • 7:00 PM  Check in at Red Roof at Lancaster

August 5

  • 8:30 AM  Check out of Red Roof.  Eat Breakfast at hotel (provided) prior to checking out.
  • 10:00 AM Mennonite Tabernacle Tour
  • Strasburg Railroad Tour (TBC)
  • 3:00 PM  Depart to return to church (We will stop to have dinner on the way home.  Attendees are responsible for their own dinner.)
  • 9:00 PM  Arrive at RCUMC
