Summary – Romans 3:23, 6,:23, 5:8, 10:13, 10:9-10, 8: 26-30

23 since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; – Romans 3:23

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23

But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8

13 For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Romans 10:13

because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. – Romans 10: 9-10

26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words. 27 And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn within a large family. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified. – Romans 8:26-30

What does this mean to me/ us?

We are all in need of Grace. When we find that Grace that reached out to us first, we will be able to see that Grace that continues to transform us. When we are transformed into the image of God, recovering the original state of creation, we will be able to see the light of God shining through our life. Through our sanctification, God will be glorified.

It is a joy to walk with you all on this journey to find Grace in our lives. Let us see how God uses us to ‘push back the darkness, one step at a time.’

Lord, we thank you for your Grace. Thank you for this opportunity to find your Grace, as we read through the book of Romans. We know how your Grace always surrounds us, and we know how this Grace will continue to embrace us. Use us, and mold us into your image.
In Christ Name, Amen.
